About me
Namaste and Bonjour! I'm Shivin Pahwa, a passionate explorer, budding writer, and hospitality professional. With a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from "Les Roches, Global Hospitality Education," where I graduated with Merit and majored in Entrepreneurship, I bring a unique blend of knowledge and skills to the table. My educational background has further enriched my understanding of the dynamic world of hospitality.
Throughout my life, I've had the incredible opportunity to live in three extraordinary countries: Canada, Switzerland, and India. These diverse cultures have shaped my perspective and ignited my love for travel and experiencing new customs. Adventure is my calling. I've dived into the mesmerizing depths of the Indian Ocean in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, discovering the hidden wonders that lie beneath the surface. Scaling Annapurna base camp, I've trekked through charming landscapes of the Himalayas that have left me in complete awe of nature's grandeur. I've galloped on horseback in the vast savannah of the Masai Mara, Kenya, with the majestic Mount Kilimanjaro standing tall in the backdrop. To my right, zebras painted the landscape with their striking patterns, while giraffes gracefully roamed to my left.
And of course, there's golf—a game I absolutely love. There's nothing quite like swinging my club on pristine courses around the world. When I'm not out exploring or perfecting my swing, I find solace in the world of words. Writing is my creative outlet, allowing me to share my thoughts and experiences. Through my blog, I blend my professional expertise gained from working with renowned hospitality chains like Marriott International and Accor, with my personal interests. From sharing travel tips to delving into the fascinating trends in hospitality, I bring a unique perspective to life through my writings.
But that's not all. I thrive on adding more excitement to my life. I embark on thrilling animal safaris, immersing myself in the beauty of wildlife in their natural habitats. Yoga brings me peace and balance amidst my adventures, allowing my body and mind to align. And long nature walks—what an incredible sense of freedom it brings, floating across picturesque landscapes. With an insatiable curiosity and an open heart, I'm always seeking answers to new questions, new stories to tell, and new friendships to forge. Join me on this journey as we unravel the beauty of the world of Hospitality, one adventure at a time. Et n'oublions pas, je parle le français, un peu! (And let's not forget, I also speak French, a little bit!).
